Male & Female figures are signed and have sticker from original purchase at J.C.Penneys. According to the auction house, these figurines are made of clay and hand painted. Figurines were the work of P. Tuckichuk. He was selected in 1964 to be part of a group of native Alaskans who participated in the Designer-Craftsman Training Project. He later made a series of figurines for Goebel of Germany. Circa 1960’s. I don’t think these figurines are Goebel but P. Tuckichuk originals. A tiny fleck of paint loss on lady’s front and a chip off the end of her scarf. Man has a tiny fleck of paint loss on his cheek Could be repaired by a small application of paint.
